Federal Skilled Trades Program

Zum zweiten Mal in diesem Jahr wurde eine Selektion speziell für Handwerker durchgeführt. In der Ziehung vom 24. September 2018 wurden Kandidaten mit mindestens 284 Punkten ausgewählt. 400 Bewerbende wurden berücksichtigt. Eine Ziehung unter Berücksichtigung von “nur” Skilled Trades ist realistisch gesehen die einzige Chance für Berufsleute wie zum Beispiel Koch oder Fachleute aus dem Industrie-, Elektro- und Bausektor direkt via Express Entry nach Kanada auswandern zu können. Dies deshalb, weil Kanada Ausbildungen mit langen formalen Ausbildungszeiten punktemässig - und Express Entry bedeutet, möglichst viele Punkte zu sammeln - bevorteilt.

Federal Skilled Trades Programm (FST) kommt in Frage für Handwerker mit Berufserfahrung in einem der aktuell bevorzugten Berufen und über dieses Programm eine unbefristete Aufenthaltserlaubnis (“Permanent Residency”, PR) in Kanada anstreben.

Dieses Programm ist für diejenigen Interessenten bestimmt, die sich ausserhalb Quebecs sich niederlassen wollen. Kandidaten, die als "FST" in Kanada einwandern wollen, werden im Express-Entry-Pool selektioniert. Folgende Anforderungen müssen erfüllt sein, um sich für FST zu qualifizieren und damit in den Express-Entry-Pool zu kommen:
  • Es kommen nur Berufe in Frage, die auf der zur Zeit aktuellen “Berufsliste” aufgeführt sind.
    • NOC-Gruppe 72, industrial, electrical and construction trades,
    • NOC-Gruppe 73, maintenance and equipment operation trades,
    • NOC-Gruppe 82, supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production,
    • NOC-Gruppe 92, processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators,
    • NOC-Gruppe 632, chefs and cooks, and
    • NOC-Gruppe 633, butchers and bakers.
  • Insgesamt 2 Jahre berufsrelevante Erfahrung innerhalb der letzten 5 Jahre. Die erforderliche Zeit kann auch über Teilzeit oder verschiedene Arbeitgeber zusammenaddiert werden. Bei reglementierten Berufen beginnt die Zeitrechnung ab Qualifikation.
  • Vollzeit-Stellenangebot für mindestens 1 Jahr in Kanada. Es können maximal zwei Arbeitgeber zusammen ein Jobangebot schaffen. Allerdings muss man dann auch für beide Arbeitgeber arbeiten. Alternativ zum Stellenangebot wäre eine bereits in Kanada ausgestellte Berufszertifizierung.
  • Nachweis, dass die für die Stelle gemäss NOC notwendigen Berufsanforderungen erfüllt werden. Handelt es sich um einen in Kanada reglementierten Beruf, dann kann das Zertifikat “später” in der entsprechenden Provinz Kanadas (in nützlicher Frist) erworben werden.
  • Im Prinzip gibt es keine Mindestausbildung. Aber bei reglementierten Berufen muss der Ausbildungsnachweis erbracht werden. Und: Je “besser” die Ausbildung, umso mehr Punkte gibt es im Express Entry. Sprachkompetenz: Mindestens CLB 5 (für die Fertigkeiten “Sprechen” und “Hören”) sowie CLB 4 (für “Lesen” und “Schreiben”).

Quebec hat ein eigenes Einwanderungsprogramm.
